Azalea Health Expands Patient Engagement Options With Curogram

Curogram has joined the Azalea Apps Integration Partnership Program, making its patient communication platform available to healthcare organizations running Azalea Health's cloud-based EHR.

The connection brings two-way texting, automated appointment reminders, digital intake forms, online scheduling, and text-to-pay to Azalea customers, with patient and appointment data passing between both systems. Both companies point to less phone work for front-office teams and faster patient response, with rural and community providers as the primary focus.

IRVINE, CA.August 2026 — Curogram, a provider of HIPAA-compliant patient communication software, has partnered with Azalea Health through the Azalea Apps Integration Partnership Program. Practices using Azalea's cloud-based EHR now have direct access to Curogram's patient engagement platform.

The integration covers two-way texting, automated appointment reminders, digital patient forms, online scheduling, text-to-pay, and workflow automation. Patient and appointment data move between the two systems, which removes the double entry that comes with running a separate communication tool. Azalea Health remains the clinical record and billing platform. Curogram handles the conversation with the patient.

Azalea Health serves independent hospitals and ambulatory practices, with strong representation among community providers and rural health clinics. Outbound calling is the bottleneck for those teams. When a provider calls out, or weather closes a clinic, staff on the integration can send one HIPAA-compliant message to every affected patient, and replies come back into a single dashboard rather than scattering across voicemail.

"We're excited to partner with Azalea Health because healthcare organizations are under enormous pressure to do more with fewer resources," said Michael Hsu, CEO and Co-Founder of Curogram. "Our platform helps practices replace phone calls with meaningful two-way conversations, reduce no-shows, automate repetitive front-office work, and deliver the communication experience today's patients expect."

“Azalea’s clients run lean operations. Hiring isn’t necessarily an option, and technology that gives time back to the practice without requiring added staff helps practices do more with the resources they have,” said Baha Zeidan, Co-Founder and CEO of Azalea Health. “Because Curogram complements the tools Azalea clients already use to further reduce administrative work, it’s a natural addition to Azalea Apps.”

Both organizations plan to keep building on the integration, with continued focus on the community and rural providers that make up much of Azalea Health's client base.
